structural environments is a design & build company located in austin, texas. we are very excited about at structural environments our call to excellence in our industry is centered on our mantra: design sustainably and build environmentally. we often hear the words green, sustainable, energy star and several other terms meant intended to be measures of not only qualified standards but also of political correctness. to many degrees, in practice, however, even the greenest of some projects with these designations is lacking in potential has not explored the vast array of possibilities , not only with respect to architectural appeal but also with ingenious and elegant energy solutions. while we do not have all of the answers to the future of sustainable design, our aim is to push the current technologies as close to net-zero energy consumption as possible without sacrificing a rich palette of material, color, texture, form and pattern.
