metal building manufacturers don't want to design and detail buildings. they view themselves as fabricators and would prefer to produce "standard" buildings rather than work with architects and contractors to solve complex problems. after working in the industry for multiple companies over multiple decades, three colleagues came to this realization over a few cold beverages in 2012. four years later, we decided to stop complaining about this reality and do something about it.
