stu hirst music dj, producer, remixer, sound engineer. winning dj magazine's mix competition, dj'ing at the space ibiza closing party and signing to steve lawler's harlem label, all within a month of each other in 2003, signalled stu hirst's arrival on the electronic music scene. since then, stu has gone on to become an international touring dj and prolific producer of some stature, having released on some of the most important labels in dance music and appearing at some of the finest clubs on the planet. stu is best known for his affiliation to global underground, a brand which needs no introduction. he came to gu via his first smash hit “rhythmique”, which was a favourite of pete tong on radio 1 and became steve lawler's signature closing record (which he still often finishes with to this day). lawler used it to close the final instalment of the lights out series for gu and the association continued, with stu becoming one of the central artists on the gu roster. stu has appeared at s
