stuart katt is the creation of artist philip dingman, and depicts the life of stuart, a black, orphaned cat purchased as a kitten from a homeless person on yonge street in toronto. crafted through timeless lino-cut print, the images have enjoyed distribution/licencing throughout canada, the u.s. and great britain. the artist began his illustration career by selling political t-shirts in ottawa's byward market in 1989. since then, he has moved into digital media and communications.
