the student education and leadership fund is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) exempt charitable organization focused on providing scholarship aid to graduating high school students in dc/md/va. recognizing that today more than ever before, the ability to chase the "american dream," however one defines it, depends in large part on an individual’s ability to arm themselves with the tools to succeed in an increasingly competitive and decreasingly empathetic world, the student education and leadership fund seeks to empower students so that they may lift themselves up and make their own mark on the world. we look for students who have persevered despite facing significant challenges during their educational careers and who can articulate a vision for what their future education can position them to do both for themselves and for their communities. in this endeavor, the organization seeks to extend a helping hand to students who will carry on the mission of expanding opportunity and equity in unconve
