nelson mandela university has a responsibility to prepare you for the world of work – the one that exists and the one you create. the nmu seed project is your catalyst for student employability and entrepreneurial growth. it’s an opportunity to grow your skill set and career success, while studying towards your tertiary qualification(s). based on the national university capacity development programme, seed’s mission is to develop and support student entrepreneurs and enhance student employability. fully funded by the department of higher education and training, seed was created to transfer valuable entrepreneurial skills and nurture student entrepreneurship through employability workshops, networking activities and peer mentorship.
