student recommended is scotland’s first and only app and deal website dedicated to students. we believe in giving not only students the best deals but also businesses. student recommended is a fantastic way to promote and drive business to your company whilst also showcasing your latest offers and events. about student recommended: student recommended has been going strong since 2005 since it was originally launched in edinburgh. it originally started off as a credit card like plastic card and was the “must have” for students in edinburgh. this enabled discounts and deals on a huge range of services. in 2012 student recommended launched a mobile application designed to make offers and deals more interactive whilst providing a platform to share all of the activity to facebook and other social media accounts. this creates fantastic marketing via the use of peer to peer marketing. we are now able to expand our base from edinburgh through to glasgow where we have an equally strong presence
