the student volunteer foundation (svf) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based out of minneapolis, minnesota, that works hard to unleash the energetic optimism of youth in action. we accomplish this by providing the necessary advocacy and funding for student-led service projects. it is our objective to ensure that young people of all backgrounds are able to serve their communities, and through their volunteerism discover a lifetime commitment to service. in just three years, svf has funded over 40 service projects, and we are currently gearing up for further expansion. in addition to our successful work in minnesota, svf continues to expand its reach on the national level with invitations to the white house and various committee positions on selective national service task forces. we have been humbled by the national attention and praise for our innovative approach engaging youth in service. we are moving rapidly to release our most innovative service yet: sparkmarket™. this online m
