Student Wind Orchestra Twente

welcome to the website of the. this page provides information about the orchestra. the student wind orchestra twente, also known as shot, consists of approximately 60 students from the university of twente and other schools, such as saxion and sartez, in twente. at least twice a year the orchestra gives a concert in enschede or another city. besides this, the orchestra visits international music festivals abroad every two years. festivals in finland, austria, switzerland and spain have already been visited. the orchestra is conducted by ronny buurink, who had led the orchestra for more than 20 years now. shot rehearses every thursday evening at 20:00 p.m. until 22:30 in the audiozaal at the vrijhof building on the university campus. you are always welcome to join one of our rehearsals to see if you want to join. twice a year we hold open rehearsals, where new members are welcomed. at this point we usually start working on a new project so that is a good time to join. it is also a good
