the student union in östersund is a non-partisan and democratically structured association of students at mid sweden university, campus östersund. our main purpose is to monitor and participate in the development of education and prerequisites for studies at mid sweden university. among other things, we work to: - develop and improve students' influence over their education. - monitor and improve the quality of mid sweden university's educations. - improve the students' study social situation. all students who study at mid sweden university and are affiliated with campus östersund can be members in the student union. as a member, you can, among other things, be elected into positions of trust, participate and vote during member meetings. you have good discounts at our partners and in addition you always have a cheaper price at our events and eat and have coffee cheaper in our restaurant and our café.
