the student parliament (s.p.) is the topmost student political body at the university of bergen. the s.p. consists of 25 elected students. out of these, 19 are elected from student political lists. in addition, all six faculties have one student representative each. the s.p. works to protect the students' interests and is their main voice in matters regarding them at the university and other relevant arenas. the sp also appoints student representatives to a number of councils, boards and committees at the university. the student parliament writes and adopts resolutions in matters concerning the students' interests at the university. this includes matters such as academic policies, student welfare, the learning environment, international students, student exchange, and issues more specific to the faculties. some examples of what the s.p. has been working for are the reduction of exam evaluation time, subject-specific entitling of bachelor degrees, better access to offices and plac
