students for a new american politics is a yale student-run political action committee which organizes fellowships for underrepresented students to work on progressive congressional campaigns. our fellows: each election cycle, snap recruits outstanding students and young people from around the country to receive intensive training, then work for 10 to 12 weeks in the summer months as full-time field organizers. after the fellowship, many snap alumni continue as progressive organizers in a wide array of careers. snap has provided fellowships for over 120 exceptional students our candidates: snap endorses competitive progressive candidates for congress. our endorsements are based on candidates’ on-the-record positions on issues that matter to the future of the progressive movement.
