sixty-million girls worldwide do not attend school. this fact affects the social, political and economic sectors of developing nations. our mission is twofold. firstly, we aim to raise money in order to fund young girls education by supporting sustainable development organizations that specifically support women. by empowering females, we will help women and girls achieve their full potential by helping eliminate their barriers to success. we believe that supporting women in developing nations through education will increase literacy, knowledge of diseases such as hiv/aids, reduce violence by encouraging gender tolerance and acceptance, and encourage women to marry later. these compounding factors will lead to healthier and more stable environments for future generations. each year, members will vote on a charitable organization (with similar aims) to which our funds will be donated to. secondly, students for change is dedicated to raising awareness of issues pertaining to female equal
