Students for Liberty Barcelona

students for liberty barcelona is a student association based in catalonia, open to the ideas of individual and personal freedom, and the free market. our goal is to show to the university community the ideas of freedom properly and to its full extent. thus, our main lines of action are the diffusion of liberalism and libertarianism in both its economic and civil strands, the promotion of an open debate on the state of economic policies and civil liberties, and the development of political activism in higher education in defence of individual liberty. as an integral part of students for liberty (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organisation), we form the largest libertarian student organization in the world. we accomplish this through a strategy of empowerment, identifying the top student leaders and training them to be agents of change in their communities. what began as a small meeting of young leaders has become an international movement of students with over 1,350 groups and 800+ leaders aro
