Students for Open Doors and Ethical Leadership

founded in november 2013, sodel emphasizing the principles of deliberative democracy to engage community members to actively work together for positive social change. mission: sodel shall work to alter campus culture through open dialogue and frank discussion, addressing inequities and exclusion that pervade our campus. sodel shall collaborate with students, faculty, and administrators in order to achieve a more diverse and open campus, where every door is open to each individual. sodel shall foster a sense of openness and transparency on campus. sodel shall facilitate and develop innovative strategies for social and cultural change on campus. these strategies will be focused on combating issues the student body identifies on campus, with an emphasis on education as an avenue to social equity and change.
