there are many different programs and organizations that promote student success, both at the school level, and throughout our community, however there is no organization that that focuses on student to student mentoring in as many schools as possible, and that is the objective of students moving forward. teachers, educators and adult mentors can be very helpful and assistive in sharing new information with students, however, students helping one another and connecting with a fellow peer that can empathize with what challenges their peers are experiencing is important too. our goal is to develop and create mentorship programs at high schools around our community so that struggling students have the opportunity to connect with their peer in the environment that they feel comfortable in and they can easily access so that no student is limited from reaching their full potential and so that their goals can be their realities.
