at the students unesco association of california, we believe that anyone can make a positive difference in contributing to the development of a better, more peaceful world. as a grassroots-based nonprofit organization run by youth, we strive to transcend the sometimes hostile boundaries that form between people of different backgrounds. through our endeavors and advocacy, we strive to build a world with greater mutual understanding and less miscommunication. when we work together, we can evoke a more profound positive change than we often imagine. when we work together, we can move mountains and transform our planet into a better place.
