the student union is the highest representative body of students of the university of mostar, which was established in 2000 by a decision of the governing board and the senate of the university. at that time, the rules of procedure were adopted, which is also the basic act of the student union, and in the same year, the first student elections were held. the main goal of the student union is to protect and promote the rights and interests of students at the level of their faculties, but also the entire university. in addition, the choir has the legitimacy to represent all students of the university, and derives its legitimacy from the student elections held at the beginning of each academic year in accordance with the principles of the ordinance on the student union.
