mikpunt is de studievereniging voor studenten medische informatiekunde en medical informatics (mi) aan de uva. de vereniging is opgericht op 1 oktober 1996 en telt op dit moment ongeveer 120 leden. wij houden ons bezig met zowel mi-gerelateerde als sociale activiteiten. op het gebied van mi-gerelateerde activiteiten organiseert mikpunt jaarlijks bijvoorbeeld de netwerkborrel en de student-docent borrel. op de netwerkborrel kunnen studenten kennis maken met het bedrijfsleven en contacten leggen voor mogelijke stages of (bij)banen. op de student-docent borrel kan onder het genot van een drankje worden gepraat met docenten over zowel studiegerelateerde als niet-studiegerelateerde onderwerpen. verder organiseren wij elk jaar een paar sociale, niet-studiegerelateerde activiteiten. gewoon, om ook de mi-studenten uit de andere jaren te leren kennen en om samen iets leuks buiten de studie te doen. jaarlijks terugkerende activiteiten zijn bijvoorbeeld de filmavond, kroegentocht en eindejaars bb
