Studio Bios

bios refers to life and living. at studio bios the spaces we design derive inspiration from the subtleties of human interaction with natural and built environment. studio bios came to life in 2017 in bangalore. the studio is founded by sagar oke and gautam nageshkar, classmates from krv institute for architecture, mumbai (2008-13). the studio, in february 2018 shifted base to nagpur, an upcoming tier-2 city and now has partner offices in mumbai and bangalore. bios focuses on asking the right questions when it comes to architectural practice and education. it has been involved in learning and exploring different ways in which architects can get more directly involved in problem solving instead of merely being consultants. the role of architects in today's day and age must evolve in order for them to make a difference. hence, of late bios has entered interesting collaborations with a few established architecture offices, young startups in the construction industry as well as firms work
