don’t feed the swedes is a swedish design duo that was formed in tokyo japan 2003 by andreas aaltonen and gustaf kjellin. andreas aaltonen has a bachelor of fine arts in product design from beckmans college of design. gustaf kjellin has a bachelor of social science from the department for advertising and pr and a masters degree in international curating from department of art-history at stockholm university. while being in school, we couldn't really wait for it to finish to start our own venture. so while studying full time we set out to build furnitures and make exhibitions/installations, most oftenly financed by dj gigs in clubs and bars. andreas graduated 2007, gustaf 2007. we work on the border between art and design. we create products and sollutions for swedish and international companies as well as private clients, with issues concerning design in many different shapes and sizes.
