studio gallery center (sgc) is a newly formed organization dedicated to nurturing and exhibiting emerging artists dedicated to the rich culture and legacy of african and african-american arts. studio - sgc is comprised of an art studio which will house artists-in-residence to develop exhibition ready work. gallery - sgc also houses a gallery where we will exhibit original artwork by our artists-in-residence on a monthly basis. additionally we will have theme based curated collections featuring local artists. sgc is committed to making art accessible and affordable to its patrons while also maintaining the value and quality of the work exhibited and sold. center – sgc is developing a larger non-profit center with a mission to provide access to the arts by increasing community awareness and involvement through workshops, panels, educational programs, and fundraising events. in its early stages the center is developing a comprehensive online arts database where users can learn about afric
