studio mwa ltd, is a team concentrating on high end residential and commercial projects including urban design. principal architect davor mikulcic and michael maddern as practice manager and interior architect form the core of this team. studio mwa now works in collaboration with the new, brisbane based office of davor mikulcic architect bringing the skills of our wellington offices into the australian market. studio mwa's focus is on design orientated architecture. for both davor and michael, design is more than a business, it is a passion. “the defining factor is the degree of personal involvement and understanding between the design team and the client. this is the separator between good design and excellent design" says davor. michael lectures at wellington institute of technology in interior design and archicad systems and davor also lectures at the queensland university of technology (qut) - faculty of build environment (school of design).
