fine art studio and gallery of artist anthony oliveto. anthony oliveto is an artist living and working in omaha, nebraska. he was born in 1981. after receiving his first bfa from the university of nebraska at omaha in 2004, he moved to chicago. there, he attended the school of the art institute of chicago and graduated with a second bfa in 2008. next, he attended massachusetts college of art and design where he received his mfa in 2010. since his first solo show at age 18, he has regularly shown locally, nationally, and internationally. anthony's words: "the primary focus of my work is hard-edge, abstract paintings. whether or not it is an exploration of geometric or organic shapes, i tend to begin with one form idea. how i choose to manipulate that form becomes the basis for how the rest of the painting is generated. i begin by building a custom wood support out of oak and mdf. then, i apply my design with the finest acrylic paint and finish it with a high gloss resin. my dedication t
