now semi-retired, i occasionally consult creatively with writers, producers, and directors in the area of non-computer based special effects. this means i work primarily in designing special effects of the "old school" type. formerly known as "floor effects," "practical effects," or "mechanical effects." several minor awards. over 30 years in the production business.
