Studio Samuel Foundation

studio samuel is a non-profit organization founded and launched in april 2012 with the mission of providing life skills to vulnerable young women in ethiopia. through its flagship impact program training for tomorrow, studio samuel prepares adolescent girls living in poverty with critical skills and opens pathways for the girls to realize their potential and become self-reliant. the program is held after school and on weekends at studio samuel's training center and includes occupational training, counseling, mentoring, computer programming, karate classes and access to healthcare. the curriculum (outside of karate) is comprised of modules successfully used in case studies conducted by un-based partners in developing countries. girls in the program range in age from 9-18. central to studio samuel's approach is "teach a man to fish."​ we facilitate local relationships on the ground, rather than offering a handout. it’s a sustainable model to help break the cycle of poverty that these wom
