studio maertens is a berlin-based interdisciplinary industrial design studio focusing on product design, custom-made products, spatial design, prototyping and product consulting. studio maertens was founded by maximilian maertens, who lives and works in berlin, germany. with a background in product design and a specialization in design for luxury and craftsmanship, maximilian is primarily an industrial designer who studied product design at the bauhaus university weimar, germany, followed by a master degree in luxury and craftsmanship at the écal in lausanne, switzerland.
