london based designer and maker richard youel holds an ma in product design from edinburgh college of art. he set up studio youel in 2020, after spending 10 years working in the design, manufacturing and model making industries. 6 years of which were as a model maker for david chipperfield architects. highly skilled in model making, woodworking, metalworking, casting & digital fabrication, studio youel aims to create close working relationships with architects, designers and private clients to collaborate on projects at all scales, such as prototyping, model making, product & furniture. as well as using his own experience to create a range of bespoke objects & furniture.
