studio slow is a curated offline and online marketplace and a contemporary design gallery in zurich, offering an exclusive selection of handcrafted collectible design/functional art, responsibly sourced from master craftsmen in the americas, asia, africa and europe. we support existing artisanal workshops, which exhibit strong leadership, scalability, the immediate potential to alleviate poverty, and empower women artisans. our name is a reflection of the collective of creative entrepreneurs – craftsmen, designers, artists – who rally together across cultures and continents to craft the collections we curate. we set out to build a venture that celebrates master craftsmanship, handmade (slow) production, and the people behind the products we curate. studio slow is our way of sharing these stories and one-of-a kind artefacts with the world.
