studiospacious was established by coen smit and freddy koelemeijer, two young architects with more than 10 years experience in designing buildings for cities. we admire the constantly changing city. she fascinates us. we want to make her beautifull. sustainable. sturdy.peculiar. with a no-nonsense attitude and a hands-on approach, we work on small and medium sized projects. our work is distinguished by combining unexpected design solutions with simplicity. innovative elements and contemporary solutions are added to 'the existing'​ to create characteristic and practical spaces and buildings. studiospacious operates under the belief that a good design creates spaces where the user feels at home. therefore, we design buildings that excite and provoke an emotion. buildings that occupy their place in the city in a surprising but obvious way. special attention is paid to the relation of the building with the city and the transitions from space to space.
