our practice was founded in greece in 1931 by ilias p. spanakis, after he graduated from the national technical university of athens. studio spanakis has focused mainly on private projects, particularly houses, offices and smaller mixed use buildings. we combine engineering expertise gained through our long history with modern architectural inspiration and flair. the practice is driven by a unique approach to every project, researching all possible designs, techniques and materials to find the best solution. this means we are flexible and innovative, and we continue to learn from each project. close collaboration with our clients, from the project’s inception through to completion, is extremely important to us, and ensures that our buildings meet their needs and exceed their expectations. we believe in team work and learning from all the disciplines involved in a project. the result is buildings that show attention to detail and function combined with our vision for architectural excel
