stuttgart instruments gmbh develops, manufactures and distributes broadly tuneable laser sources, covering the visible to far infrared spectral range. the company’s goal is to make the infrared spectral range accessible to all researchers in all kind of experiments in order to promote their technological and scientific progress. founded in december 2017 as a spin-off from the university of stuttgart, stuttgart instruments engineers have developed the alpha: a modular nonlinear frequency converter. based on the costumer’s needs, different converters can be cascaded and combined to generate all wavelengths of interest. starting with high repetition rate, short pulse, solid-state lasers a highly stable and shot-noise limited performance is achieved. the unique expertise of our engineers not only in laser development but also in various spectroscopy techniques allows us to provide both, top performance light sources and application support.
