"what began as an idea for a simple class project quickly grew into a real business." subber's original intent was to be a wholesaler of and online marketplace for boxed and media subscription services. brian so, greg pereira, rohan mirchandani, suphakd senawanna saenkhat, greg pantazis, jasper gan, kartik mahida, marc choy, and kunal gupta, all of whom contributed to the original concept for subber, met at a business program at the haas school of business (uc berkeley) bbay program in 2015 where they identified that while subscription-based services were becoming a fast-growing trend in the market today, there was a clear need to manage subscriptions from a single, intuitive application. together, they conceptualized the idea that customers should be able to save money when they purchase multiple subscription services, and they should be able to manage them without the need for multiple accounts and passwords. subber was established in july of 2015 by gregory pereira as a sole prop
