subscene.tv is an alternative platform featuring emerging and established independent english-language music based in singapore. over the last three years, the small collective of dedicated music fans has produced and told the stories of over 50 local bands, across the diverse and multifarious music scenes, with the hopes of capturing the raw spirit and identity of independent music culture in singapore. influenced by old local fan zines like big o and internet publications such as the wknd sessions (malaysia) and sounds from the corner (indonesia), subscene.tv is accessible and free for everyone (music fans, budding music promoters and organizers, etc.) to watch, listen and learn about the independent musicians in singapore. it is a means to create conversation, interest, gig opportunities locally and abroad, and above all, belief that “made in singapore” has a place in our ipods, radio stations, and performance venues. subscene.tv has been featured in juice magazine (singapore) and s
