independent geotechnical consultancy founded by charlotte woodhall-jones. charlotte is a uk registered ground engineering professional, chartered engineer and chartered geologist with over 15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering. she has worked on private and public-sector funded projects, in the water, structures, highways and railway sectors, and can work in single- or multi-disciplinary teams. more recent design experience includes multi-disciplinary schemes for the environment agency, local authority and network rail. charlotte has fulfilled the role of geotechnical design lead on several multi-disciplinary projects and in her last position before formation of subterra solutions she led a team of up to eight engineers at various grades. charlotte embraces creativity and innovation in geotechnical design. she has won awards based on creative investigation methods and has presented innovation in design and construction to an engineering forum for the environment agency. ch
