Subtext Zines

our subtext world spans countries. it starts and ends its days in every timezone in the us and then some. it revolves around friendships that were born online, exist miles apart, and thrive through our shared love of music and a million other things. the only thing more important than our love of music is our love of each other. nothing follows a definite theme here. it’s too hard to define yourself by one thing and deny yourself of everything else! our only aim is to document our independent and communal experiences with as much love, irreverence, honesty, and joy as possible. embracing the good and the bad. and some anarchy too. in the future, we’ll probably make a few theme-centric zines but we’ll always be on the lookout for submissions from anyone who has something to share. feel free to email us a sliver of an idea, a full-on pitch, or completed work. we are excited by all kinds of art, words, styles, and people.
