subtilis biomaterials s.l. is a new born spanish company, spin-off of the technical university of catalonia (upc). subtilis biomaterialsis built on the technology developed at the biomaterials biomechanics and tissue engineering research group (bibite, upc barcelona, spain) for more than 15 years. why? public funded research must benefit to the society. our goal is to make the recent research advances made in the bone graft substitutes area available to the patients. how? subtilis biomaterialsis dedicated to manufacture and bring to the patient the next generation of bone graft substitutes. we also take special care of the surgeons, and address their special needs in order to reach patients. what? we manufacture calcium phosphate bioceramics combining outstanding features in terms of handling and regeneration performance. the proprietary bioceramics that mimetis aims at making available to the surgeons are cost-efficient. they can be applied easier and safer than today's gold
