success4all is an educational enterprise that delivers a group of learning hubs across newcastle upon tyne. established in 2006, success4all has grown into 7 independent learning hubs. the impulse to set up success4all was a response to the need for free to low cost study support in areas marked by low academic achievement as a result of their social situation. we aim to narrow the widening attainment gap between the advantaged and disadvantaged by training local university and college students (from all disciplines) and members of the community including parents, as volunteer peer tutors. alongside a learning hub coordinator, they support children and young people aged 8-18 years old with their studies. the learning hubs are relaxed and homely environments, where the tutees feel welcome to study independently away from any distractions they may face at home, or 1-2-1 with a peer tutor if they are unable to seek extra tuition at home, either because their parents do not have the kn
