in a collaborated effort, the community futures central and southern alberta region (which includes cf highwood, cf alberta southwest, cf central alberta, cf centre west, cf crowsnest pass, cf east parkland, cf lethbridge, and cf wild rose) has recently launched a two-year succession planning project. an increasing number of clients are approaching us, asking about assistance with the sale of their business or the transition to a family member. smaller communities in our regions see many businesses shutting down, which impacts the entire community. in many cases, the business owners are unaware of their options or uneducated about how to go about selling their business. the succession planning project aims to raise awareness of relevant issues, educate business owners and their circles of influence, and to provide access to additional resources through our vendors, succession matching.com, alberta business family institute and commercial ventures. we serve all rural entreprene
