the sugar mountain community association (smca) is your property owner's group on sugar mountain. the smca provides activities such as dinners, games, hiking, dining out and more, that enable you to meet fellow property owners and that enhance your enjoyment of the mountain. many activities are held at the j. douglas williams park, a 14-acre park, developed by the smca. the sugar mountain community association also represents the interests of all property owners to the sugar mountain village council, whether those owners are full-time or part-time residents. members of our board of directors attend village council meetings, providing members with valuable insight into the challenges of village management while raising critical owner issues when appropriate. the smca by-laws call for a slate up to fourteen directors to be elected during the annual meeting. residents should feel free to approach a director anytime they have questions and can go to the website to learn how to contact a cu
