suicide survivors: the healing journey after loss is an outreach program that provides support for family and friends touched by suicide. support groups are facilitated by a professional counselor and a trained survivor. groups are limited to 8-10 people and are scheduled for the convenience of the participants. there are eight weekly sessions which are closed to new participants after the second week. monthly meetings are held for anyone who has completed the eight week program for as long as the participant chooses to attend. intake procedure:call for information 817-698-9955 fees:none eligibility:serves family and friends touched by suicide who are aged 18 and older hours:support groups are scheduled at times and places that are convenient for participants. phone messages and email are checked daily. no provisions for walk-ins. languages:staff speaks no language other than english area served:tarrant and surrounding counties
