candice de youth soccer academy is based in mapalo (formerly chipulukusu) community of ndola where young football talent is being nurtured and groomed. candice de youth soccer academy targets underprivileged boys and girls aged between 9 and 20 with dexterous abilities and an aspiration to further their individual footballing skills in order to become professional footballers. the academy is making a contribution to keep these youths away from negative social vices such as drug and alcohol abuse, crime, early marriages and sexually transmitted diseases including hiv/aids. the academy is also playing a role in educating the students on life, survival skills and community participation for poverty alleviation and economic empowerment. all our students come from underprivileged backgrounds and families and so we do not charge them for the lessons that we provide to them. the academy has a total of 90 students broken as follows:  under the age of 12 – (25)  aged 13 to 15 – (30) 
