each bottle of summer harvest starts its journey to the dinner plate from the rich and beautiful land of perthshire in the heart of rural scotland. the soil, the water, the air and the attention to detail ensures that each bottle is bursting with flavour and packed with healthy goodness. summer harvest oils was founded by mark bush in 2008. while working as an it consultant on the trading floor of a london investment bank, mark developed a love for food and a passion for local, seasonal produce. he left his high flying city job (swapping his leather brogues for wellie boots) to pursue his passion and moved to scotland to start working on his father-in-laws farm in rural perthshire. after a season of growing vegetables and selling potatoes at his local farmers market, mark looked into other produce. mark's father-in-law (david cameron) was one of the first farmers in the area to grow oilseed rape (25 years previously). as no-one solely based in scotland was producing ‘cold pressed rapes
