Summer of Code

have you ever heard of "google summer of code" or gsoc program? the summer of code (soc) is an annual program, first introduced by google on 2005 and its been held since.students participating in the three-month-long program. the summer of code puts these students to work in real world, open source development projects. while most program participants are computer science and engineering majors. on june 2012, the "university of tehran summer of code" (utsoc) team was established by hamed zamani and amir saboury under the supervision of dr. ramtin khosravi. their goal was to make this team for students who are interested in learning new technologies and performing some programming activities in their summer holidays. well, they did that! and surprisingly, those activities continued even after summer and during school days. it seems programs like this is spreading among cs and ece students in universities all over the country. if you are interested to do some coding and have fun during s
