summerplace is a black female-owned and led private equity fund manager. we invest in south african smes looking for growth funding of between r20m and r50m, with enterprise values of up to r200m, and at least 3 years’ track record of generating positive cash flows. we have strong preference for black owned and managed businesses. we are fairly sector agnostic, with strong leanings in manufacturing, ict, fmcg (particularly food and bev) and education. specific exclusions include speculative property, primary mining and primary agriculture.
