Summertime to Give
summertime to give is a non-profit organization collecting new, unopened summer toys and clothing items for kids in need. produced by facility it group & jimmy buffett's margaritaville. during the winter holidays, we see a lot of great people giving to wonderful charities. people donate items like winter coats, boots, toys, and more to kids in need. then the spring comes, and the momentum slows… as we all know, poverty, hard times, and needs don’t go away because the sun is out. so we thought, “why can’t santa make a stop early this year?!” summertime to give began as a phone call between facility it group president shawn bergfalk and margaritaville president dan leonard, two st. patrick high school alumni from chicago. weeks later a conversation turned into an idea, the idea became reality, and summertime to give was born. we collect new summer toys and clothing items for kids in need such as: beach balls, sunglasses, swim gear, squirt guns, sunscreen, etc. you will find our donation
