summitglow ltd – heat treatment specialists is a family owned company which was established in 1983 to provide salt bath heat treatment to the then abundance of cutting tool manufacturers in the area. originally located on a small riverside site in sheffield, the company moved to new purpose built premises in 1990. further expansion took place with the purchase of a local heat treatment company in sheffield in 1991 and again in 1995 with the acquisition of a nitriding company. summitglow ltd continues to expand and steadily grow and as such takes advantage of both traditional and new technologies. the company employs approximately 25 people operating from two sites within sheffield. both sites are open 24 hours per day, 5 days a week. we operate our own fleet of commercial vehicles and offer delivery and collection to many areas within a 150 mile radius. while still offering a comprehensive salt bath facility (both in terms of through hardening and austempering) summitglow ltd has now
