sumner’s residential services is the only leavenworth, ks based youth residential facility, pending license in kansas to work with 16 children between the ages of 8 to 18. srs provides care for clients who may have patterns of: antisocial, opposition defiance, aggression, abuse, impulsive and/or other high risk behaviors. our goal is to help our clients safely return to a less restrictive environment such as family by addressing the behaviors that led to placement in a residential facility. we accomplish this through evidence based/trauma informed care that targets problem behaviors by helping clients improve: problem solving, social, life and coping skills and help develop and maintain healthy relationships. our youth have: a safe, nurturing, structured environment, delivered by qualified/skilled practitioners. this facility has 24 hour sight/sound supervision. our facility offers many benefits such as: our admission procedures are sufficiently flexible, which allows for: same day,
