director of company developing and selling software as a service to creative agencies selling their time and talent. sumsup is online software that quite literally shows the big picture; in pretty graphs that mean something to creatives. it brings three crucial bits of the business together (jobs, people, cash) in one piece of software. the software draws simple pictures to show you where you are making money and where you aren't, so you can decide what to do about it. it also shows you what would happen if you did something different. we wrote the functional spec but outsourced the build of the software. in my role, i’m responsible for marketing, sales and training. my co-directors both have accounting and finance backgrounds, so for once i don’t have to worry about the sums! the business model is based on a monthly subscription from clients, with a choice of three packages.
