suncubes is an early-stage startup that aims to develop the future space energy infrastructure through an innovative satellites’ recharging system. in today’s space economy, satellite manufacturers must oversize and overestimate solar panels and batteries to satisfy satellites’ power requirements, especially when in shade. those components make up a huge portion of satellites’ costs and weight.  suncubes will provide a network of standard satellites with the scope of producing and accumulating energy to be transferred to receivers on client satellites. it will enable a mass saving up to 40% and an improvement of mission flexibility. moreover, our clients will benefit an improvement of satellite lifetime since batteries are the main cause of performance loss over time. suncubes on november 2021 won the first sgac prize in the 3rd “italian space startup competition” and last year won the 2022 switch2product edition, the innovation challenge of politecnico di milano, polihub and deloit
